Again, I found this piece on Pinterest. I chose this piece because I thought it was so detailed and I was amazed at the fact that the media was color pencil. I thought about how it was not a piece that would usually stick out because it was just a portrait of a man. It doesn't have paint splattered everywhere or abstract meanings. It is a work of art because of the detail, the time spent on the colors and lines to make this as realistic as possible. It reminded me of the readings and film we watched about what made a piece valuable.
